Foods That Can Help Increase Success Possibility With IVF Procedures

There are so many women out there that have to use IVF if they want to get pregnant because of various fertility problems that they have. Unfortunately, we are referring to procedures that are quite expensive. With this in mind, you normally want to do all that you can in order to increase the possibility of success.

As with most of the procedures that the body would go through in order to help conceive as problems appear, the diet has to be taken into account. We are going to now talk about some foods that you need to add to your diet in order to increase the possibility of success as you prepare for the in-vitro fertilization. If you are looking for more information about the actual IVF procedure, you can look here for more information.

Successful implantation dos need prostaglandin, which is a fatty acid. Women are always recommended to consume foods that have high omega-3 fatty acid content when they want to be pregnant. That is because omega-3 will contribute to prostaglandins levels in the body of the woman. The main source of such a fatty acid is fish but when trying to conceive, fish is not a 100% safe option as many species include mercury, which is not great for conceiving. Some species even have high lead concentrations. That lowers successful conceiving chances and will remain inside the body, sometimes causing disorders in the development of the baby.

The alternative source of the fatty acids is offered by nuts. Walnuts are great as they do include ALA, which is converted to omega-3 fatty acids inside the body after consumption. Prostaglandin levels can thus be increased without consuming something that would potentially damage the pregnancy after it is successful.

This is something that most women do not know but this is a tropical fruit that is recommended for any implantation procedure due to its high bromelain content. This is an enzyme that will help dissolve the proteins that would prevent a healthy implantation. We do not have many studies that prove this but if we are to talk to women that did manage to conceive, we would instantly notice the fact that there are many that recommend pineapple as they believe it helped. Since this fruit is not at all bad for the body, why not try it out? Just make sure that you only consume one fifth of a pineapple per day since PH levels in the cervical mucus and vaginal area would be modified, making the environment acid when consuming more.

Leafy Vegetables

Foods that are folate rich should be a big part of your day-to-day diet as you try to conceive. This is a B vitamin type that helps in producing new cells in the human body. It is really important for the embryo as the cells keep dividing rapidly inside the womb. Folic acid will help in producing healthier eggs and although folate supplements do exist for women that try to get pregnant, getting the substance from green leafy vegetable is better.
