Happy National Truffle Day! #sweeteningtheworld

Did you guys know that today is a VERY special day? May 2nd is  National Truffle Day!! In honor of this holiday to be treasured, I have teamed up with one of my favorite chocolate companies ever to bring you guys the sweetest giveaway!

First, let me tell you a little more about why I am head over hooves for Hagensborg Chocolates:



Hagensborg is working with Variety Club Children’s Charity for kids with disabilities in the Province of Burnaby BC, which is helping to Sweeten the World for a bunch of sweet kids!  They use ethical sustainable ingredients and have gone fair trade and organic for most of their chocolates! They are working on going 100%  fair trade and organic. This makes my heart super happy!  Hagensborg chocolates are gluten free, kosher, non gmo, single origin. This company is operated by a team of hard working Chocolate Princesses that definitely sweeten the world with their gush worthy treats and adorable truffle pigs!

  5. A few baby ducks were washed down into the street gutter and my mailman knocked on the door asking if I could call a city official to see of someone could come help. The mother did was beside herself and I felt horrible. I made several calls and finally reached a nice guy with the streets department who came right out to help.

  17. my daughter picked out and handmade gifts for her friends birthday party. then, they gave her a thank you note with a gift! it was just adorable to see these two little friends, ages 3 and 6, thinking of each other and initiating kindness!

  44. I keep my family stocked with my baked goodies. My dad gets a bundt cake. Mom gets lower sugar oatmeal cookies. My husband gets oatmeal raisen cookies or chocolate chip and my dogs get chicken, beef liver and beef heart jerkies.

  54. One thing that I recently did was buy a ton of snacks online for my boyfriend - I made it kind of like a surprise box where he just opens it and there's tons of snacks! He loves taking stuff to work so I decided to be nice and order him some stuff. The other day he surprised me with my favorite chocolate milk and donuts! We both do sweet stuff for each other.

I was at the movies waiting to pay my ticket when my friends were being rude to the people behind me- saying obnoxious things questioning their gender and that was not okay with me especially not for the girls who were offended. I told my so called friends to apologize to them. I felt embarrassed to be around all that animosity. I know my role is to love not judge so I hoped people knew better. I'm very protective over my surroundings and never want to feel that type of way. A little compassion is what the world needs.
