940 Saturdays: Saturday #198

On Saturday #198 (#18 for Harper) my son and I slept a little later than normal. We had a rough week with Roo being sick, one of the dogs was ill and I wasn't feeling the best, but Mom doesn't get sick. Roo told me to sit on the couch with him and he gathered up several pillows and blankets. He wanted to cuddle. It sounded good to me! We read a few books and chatted until the baby was ready to get up.

Around 8 we wanted to wake Daddy up. Everyone climbed in bed and demanded hugs and kisses. It was all fun and games until it was my turn to be loved. My son didn't appreciate anyone hugging and kissing his Mommy. Adam and I laughed about it and I demanded to be cuddled for awhile.

When we got the day underway we went shopping for a new sofa but didn't find one yet. The search resumes this weekend. It is hard to decide on what color to get, because we know we are moving soon (another post for another day).

We had a nice Saturday. We didn't really do anything, but that seems to be the new normal thanks to this never ending winter.

I hope you had a chance to spend time with the people you love over the weekend.

  1. It sounds like such a lovely relaxing weekend. It's to bad you didn't find "the" sofa though, would have been the perfect ending.

    Ours was fairly busy

  2. Our weekend was sickly too. I was sick then the kids were sick on Sunday and we are all recuperating now.

  3. Sickness is going around. I hope everyone is feeling better. I hope you find a couch you like.

Thanks for leaving me a comment sweet stuff! I am always glad to hear from you!
