Hey guys! I have a recipe to share with you from my friends at Starkist that is perfect for Cinco de Mayo celebrations and Taco Tuesday year round! This is an easy peasy recipe that promises to be as delicious as it looks!
This recipe calls for corn taco shells, but I think it would also be awesome with soft tortilla shells. I am considering living on the wild side and making fish nachos as a spin on this one!
Hungry Girl's Sweet & Spicy Tuna Tacos
Ingredients:
- 2 (2.6 oz.) Pouches - Tuna Creations® Sweet & Spicy
- 1⁄4 cup salsa
- 4 corn taco shells (flat-bottomed shells, if available)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1⁄4 cup diced onion
- 1⁄4 cup diced tomato
- 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, mix Tuna Creations® and salsa.
- Evenly fill shells with lettuce, Tuna Creations® mixture, onion, tomato, and cilantro. Yum!!
I love how quickly this comes together for a healthy dinner option that tastes amazing! My husband is a big fish taco fan; now that I have this Starkist inspired recipe I will definitely be making them for dinner more often. This recipe would pair well with Spanish or Mexican Rice or a delicious smoked queso dip.
This is another dinner that you can make for a family for under $7. It would pair well with Spanish or Mexican Rice or a nice fruit salad.

I love fish tacos, but have never tried it with Tuna Creations! How handy that they are already seasoned. This sure will come together quick :)
