The Super Bowl is more than just a football game; it's a full-on party with friends and family. And what's a party without amazing food? This year, ditch the greasy delivery and impress your guests with a spread of delicious and creative Super Bowl snacks.

Plan Your Lineup

Think variety! Offer a mix of classic favorites alongside some unexpected treats. Here's a crowd-pleasing combo:

  • Dips and Spreads: Queso, hummus, guacamole, and a creamy spinach and artichoke dip are all sure bets. For a twist, try a spicy kimchi salsa or a vibrant beet hummus.
  • Finger Foods: Chicken wings are a must-have, but consider offering healthier options like baked veggie spring rolls or crudités with a yogurt-based dip. Pigs in a blanket are a fun, nostalgic choice, and mini pizzas are always a crowd-pleaser.
  • Hearty Options: For those who need a little more to fuel their cheering, include some small bites with staying power. Miniature pot pies, sliders, or even a build-your-own taco bar are all great options.
  • Sweet Treats: Don't forget dessert! Brownies, cookies, and fruit skewers are easy crowd-pleasers. Offer a sweet and salty option like peanut butter cup pretzel bites for something a little different.

Presentation is Key

Make your spread visually appealing! Use a variety of serving platters and bowls. Arrange chips in a fun way, and get creative with how you display your dips. For a playful touch, shape a cheese ball into a football or decorate cupcakes with team colors.

Keep it Game Day Fun

  • Label your dishes: Let guests know what they're reaching for, especially if you have some unique options.
  • DIY stations: Set up a DIY taco bar or a nacho station with different toppings.
  • Make it interactive: Have a contest for the best wing sauce recipe or the most creative snack display.

The most important ingredient? Fun! With a delicious spread and a good game on, you're guaranteed a Super Bowl party that will be a win for everyone. Fried Mac n Cheese Bites by Mama Loves to Cook

3 Ingredient Fool Proof Biscuits

There is nothing like fresh biscuits! We love them with almost any meal, and both of my kids love to come home from a long day at school to find a basket of fresh biscuits to hold them over until dinner. This recipe is so easy that you can have a small batch of fresh biscuits ready and on the table in about 15 minutes, with only 3 ingredients!

I love to bake something fresh everyday. I do it for a bunch of reasons; out of love, boredom and necessity. Anytime I can whip up something fresh instead of turning to processed food, count me in. This biscuit recipe is so good and easy. It is truly foolproof. You can't mess this recipe up, even if you try! This is a recipe an inexperienced baker can enjoy, but even the most seasoned biscuit baker will appreciate the simplicity of this recipe!

Ingredients:
2 cups of self rising flour + a little extra for dusting
a pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups of heavy cream

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl.
When the ingredients are combined, pull the dough out of the bowl and knead it by hand for about 2 minutes. You do not want to overwork this dough! That is the secret to fluffy, flaky biscuits.
Roll the dough out to about 1/2 an inch thickness.

Using a mason jar lid or biscuit cutter, cut the dough into circles and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
If you like, brush the tops with melted butter when they come out of the oven.

Serve warm, with butter and jam.

You can store any leftovers in an airtight container and pop them in the microwave for about 15 seconds to reheat.

This biscuit recipe is really good for being so fuss free. It pairs perfectly with my copycat Cracker Barrel Chicken and Dumplings. It would also be fantastic with carrot soup.

Apple, Strawberry, Banana Baby Food Waffles #CookingwithGerber

This is a sponsored conversation, however, the chit chat, opinions, and recipes are all my own!

Moms, baby cereal is a part of life during the early years of a child's life. We have all mixed it with fruit, spooned it into mouths and cleaned it out of hair! But, did you know that even after your child is past the baby cereal stage, there is a good reason to keep it in the pantry! Gerber brand cereal also makes for an awesome baking substitution and there are so many ways to use it to add a little something special to your recipes!

There are 4 varieties of Gerber baby Cereal available at Wal-Mart stores; Oatmeal Cereal, Oatmeal & Banana Cereal, Lil' Bits Strawberry and Banana and MultiGrain. which are great for different stages of feeding baby and introducing textures.

I have been around the block of picky eating a few times now, my daughter will eat anything and everything, my son, however, is incredibly picky. His famous line is "That makes me weird..." when he is offered almost any kind of food. He will eat waffles, pancakes, chicken and potatoes... you can imagine how I worry about his nutritional needs! At the age of 6 he is growing and developing. He is active and plays sports, the mom in me needs to know he is getting some essential nutrients in his selective eating phase.

Last week I whipped up a fantastic and easy recipe with Gerber Oatmeal and Banana Baby Cereal and Gerber baby food {apple strawberry banana stage 2}. This was so easy to make and my son had NO CLUE I slipped some added goodness into one of his favorite foods.

If you are looking for a healthy recipe with added nutrients that is an awesome and hearty breakfast in its own, you are going to love my recipe for Apple, Strawberry, Banana Baby Food Waffles!

Ingredients
2 cups of all-purpose baking mix
1 cup of Gerber Oatmeal and Banana Baby Cereal
1 container of Gerber Apple strawberry Banana 2nd foods
2 1/2 to 2 2/3 cup of milk
1 banana sliced finely
1 egg

Directions
Add baking mix, Gerber baby cereal, egg and banana together, lightly stir to smash the banana.
Add the apple, strawberry, banana baby food to the mixture, stir lightly
Begin to gradually combine the milk and the waffle mix. When you reach the desired consistency, stir the batter well to smash up any larger chunks of banana.
Add to your waffle iron and cook until done.
Serve warm with syrup or sliced fruit.

My son really loved these fruity waffles. The fruit flavor was not overpowering which is awesome for parents of picky eaters! If your child likes fruit, you could reduce the milk by 6 ounces and add an additional container of baby fruit food.

How do you use Gerber Baby Food? Have you ever added it to a recipe? I would love to hear about your experiences with Gerber Cereal.

You guys, I want to inspire you to create a great recipe with Gerber Cereal!!
