Why Curves May Be the Hottest Interior Design Trend of 2023

We’re looking at some of the best ideas for where you can add some curves and add some character to your home. Read on.

Why curves? Well, the brilliance of curves is that they can be sleek and round. Like a literal curveball in your home, it gives any room it's in a little surprise. And much like the term “bubbly” in a person, curves imply character. They’re an easy way to show that you go with the flow and like to break the rules. Plus, there is something warm and cozy about curves. In the time of an energy crisis, every little helps to make a room feel warmer than it is. So, really, the question should be, why not curves? And we have no answer to that.

And there are lots of ways to implement curves into your home design. We’re looking at some of the best ideas for where you can add some curves and add some character to your home.

Tables

Tables are perhaps the best way to add curves to your home. Stylish and toddler-proof! What’s not to love?

That’s right: modern coffee and dining table sets are all coming with curved corners for some fun; modern designs that add a bit of flavor to your home. The simplest of these merely round off the corners of standard tables, but where’s the fun in that? A lot of groovy coffee tables are emerging that come in squiggles, clouds, and of course, the timeless oval. They all give a little something more to the very standard and common straight-sided tables.

Arches

There is a trend taking off right now for arches in the home. They are appearing over pantries; they are appearing over doorways; they are re-appearing in wardrobes; and plenty of other options popping up all over the home. For some arched wardrobe options, take a look at this collection of Price Busters bedroom sets.

And the best part is that they are easy to add to your own home. If you’re someone who is handy with a saw, it takes just a little bit of plastering to get an arch over your doorway. If swathes of influencers can do it, you can too!

Color blocking

Speaking of doing it yourself, another trend that is easy to implement when it comes to curves is simple color blocking. People of all styles are adding curves with just a lick of paint. Some of them are small enough to make use of a tester pot of paint. Color blocking is, as the name implies, decorative blocks of paint around the home. Sometimes they add an accent to the wall, a funky design to the wall, a frame around a mirror or piece of art, and many other color blocking ideas.

Sofas

And of course, sofas and chairs are getting into this trend of curves. The cloud sofa started it, but the bubble sofa has truly perfected it. As you can guess from the name, the bubble sofa looks more like a bubble bath than a couch, with perfectly formed spheres making up the cushions for a fluffy couch that you can just sink into.

4 Things to Consider When Buying Your Next Pair of Trendy Sneakers

These days, most people wear sneakers all the time, so they are definitely a trendy choice of footwear when it comes to keeping your wardrobe current and fashionable. And the best part is that there are certainly lots of comfortable and supportive sneakers to choose from. The sneaker trend isn’t set to go anywhere any time soon, and with lots of styles to choose from, picking a pair that you can rely on to stay on trend and add a fashionable edge to any outfit is essential. Keep reading for some of the main things to think about when choosing the right next pair of sneakers for you.

Go for a Timeless Classic

If you like to keep on top of fashion trends when it comes to clothing and what you wear is often changing with the seasons, then opting for a timeless classic when it comes to sneakers is a good idea. Some sneakers just don’t go out of fashion and look fantastic no matter what you decide to wear them with. Converse is just one example of a sneaker brand that you can rely on to stay on trend whether you’re pairing them with jeans or a dress. Go for a simple, trendy colour like white that you can match with just about anything.

Comfort Level

It’s not just important to think about how the sneakers look. If you want to wear them every day, then you’re also going to need to consider how comfortable they are to wear. For a comfortable yet trendy option, sock trainers or chunky trainers are a great choice. They’re both super-comfortable to wear all day long and are really on trend right now with lots of celebrities sporting them.

How Much to Spend

The good news is that the sneaker market today is so large, that when it comes to finding a pair that you like that are in your budget, it’s easier than ever. Spend some time considering how much you are willing to spend when it comes to a pair of sneakers, and then narrow down your option within this price range. Bear in mind that cheaper sneakers don’t always last as long as those you’ve spent a bit more on. But if you’re often changing with the trends, this might not matter that much.

How Long You Want Them to Last

Finally, think about how long you want the sneakers to last. If you are buying them to keep on op of a recent fashion trend that you don’t expect to be around for a long time, then buying a pair of sneakers to last for years might not be a concern. On the other hand, you should always go for the best quality you can find if you want a timeless pair of sneakers that can carry you through all the fashion updates throughout the seasons. Go for a pair that are made from durable materials and constructed well.

Sneakers have become a wardrobe staple these days, and the ones you decide to wear can make or break any trendy and fashionable outfit.

From ancient ruins and monuments to the architectural wonders of modern cities, there is something to be discovered in each and every corner of this continent. Travelling through Europe, you’ll find yourself immersed in tales of old, discovering unique stories and legacies of generations past. Many of Europe’s most recognizable sights are rooted in its history. Take Rome, for example, a city which has been steeped in legacy since its founding in 753 BC. Among its ancient streets you’ll find the Colosseum – once the site of gladiator battles and chariot races – and the Pantheon, the world’s oldest surviving temple. Then there’s the mysterious Stonehenge, Britain’s prehistoric monument, and Prague Castle, the largest castle complex in the world, which dates back to the 9th century. No matter where your travel in Europe takes you, you can expect to uncover layers of history throughout your journey.

2) The food

If there’s one thing that Europe is known for, it’s the amazing cuisine. From Italy’s pizzas and pastas to France’s fine dining, Europe has something for everyone. From a culinary standpoint, there’s no better way to experience different cultures than to sample the local food. Whether you’re in France enjoying a croque monsieur or in Spain devouring paella, you’ll get an incredible gastronomic experience. People in Europe take fashion very seriously, and they’re always trying out new trends and experimenting with their style. Europe is also home to some of the world’s top fashion designers. Big names like Christian Dior, Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Versace, and Armani have all launched lines in Europe at one point or another.

4) The architecture

One of the best reasons to visit Europe is to experience the architecture. Everywhere you look, there’s something grand and breathtaking. From the mediaeval castles that dot the landscape to the gothic cathedrals and ornate palaces, there’s plenty to marvel at. Take some time to explore the cobblestone streets of European cities and admire the colourful facades and intricate details of the buildings. It’s easy to forget you’re in a modern world when surrounded by centuries-old structures. Plus, it’s not just old buildings; Europe is also home to many modern architectural wonders like Zaha Hadid’s “The Wave” in Barcelona, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain, and the Renaissance Center in London.

5) The art

Europe has a long and storied artistic history. From the famous works of Michelangelo, Da Vinci and Rembrandt to the lesser-known yet still influential masterpieces of El Greco, Chagall and Modigliani, Europe is home to some of the most iconic works of art in the world. It’s not just classical art that Europe has to offer, either; contemporary artists from all over the continent are creating modern pieces every day.

What Should I Do With All My Seasonal Leftovers?

 Pexels - CC0 License

Well, eat them, of course! That said, it can be hard to know what to do with small elements of your leftovers if they’re all placed in little tubs and have no real purpose in a much larger recipe. Moreover, some ingredients can last longer than others in the refrigerator, and on top of this, you may or may not have had a traditional seasonal meal or set of meals over the festive period.

For this reason, understanding what to do with your seasonal leftovers can be a hard task. But don’t worry, in this post, we’ll discuss a few measures you can use to decide exactly that. Without further ado, please consider the following advice:

Make The Best Sandwiches Possible

You can make the best sandwiches with any leftover meats and vegetables from your holiday meals. There are countless alternatives for transforming your leftovers into mouthwatering sandwiches, whether you choose traditional options like turkey with cranberry sauce or more original combinations like ham and pineapple. Stuffing, roasted vegetables, and other softer foods can be delicious in between a fresh baguette purchased from a local barkery, so don’t think you have to slop everything into two small pieces of bread.

Add your preferred sauces and toppings after layering your remaining components and you’ll really take it up a notch. Have fun, experiment, and use up those leftovers. For a crispy and tasty variation, you may also try grilling your sandwiches in a skillet. Sandwiches are a tasty and practical way to use up your leftover Christmas ingredients, and work no matter if they’re hot or cold.

Delicious Stuffed Pepper Soup

You can make a fantastic stuffed pepper soup with any leftover ground beef and vegetables from your holiday meal. Simply brown some onions and peppers in a pot, add the remaining vegetables and ground beef, and then toss in some broth and canned tomatoes. Alternatively, you can follow this stuffed pepper soup recipe which is utterly delicious and a real treat to both enjoy alone or share with the family. This way you can use up all of those smaller veggies you may have had beforehand and aren’t sure what to do with.

Make A Delectable Casserole

Making a nice casserole is a wonderful way to use up your leftover holiday supplies. You can make a filling and savory casserole that will feed a crowd out of any leftover vegetables, ham, or turkey. Turkey and broccoli casserole, ham and cheese quiche, and sweet potato and black bean casserole are all delicious and you’ll be asking for seconds in no time. Just arrange your unused ingredients in a baking dish, top with cheese or a creamy sauce, and bake the casserole until it is hot and bubbling. The good thing is that casseroles tend to improve in the refrigerator, so ironically you’ll have leftovers, but leftovers that are enjoyable and simple to eat this time around, as you’ve combined them into one delicious meal.

With this advice, you’re sure to turn all of your seasonal leftovers into an amazing meal we’ll be jealous of.

Top Tips For Booking A Trip To America on a Budget

A lot of us take pleasure in and have a real passion for travelling, but it is also true that it can grow rather expensive. The following are some suggestions that will assist you in organising a holiday that will not only be exciting and unforgettable, but will also be kind to your purse.

image

1. Set A Budget

Establishing a financial plan is going to be the first step that you will want to do. You will have a much better understanding of how to make certain that you are able to include the most important components of your holiday without going over your budget if you determine a precise number early on in the planning process. You can accomplish this in a few different ways, and which one you choose will depend on your personal preferences. The first method, which is also the simplest, is to simply establish a rigid maximum limit for the amount. It is likely that shorter excursions with only one location will benefit the most from this option. It is the method that is both the quickest and the least complicated. On the other hand, it may restrict your choices in the event that unexpected developments arise at the very last minute.

2. Consider what your perfect vacation looks like

Once you have decided how much money you are going to spend on your trip, the next step is to determine what it is you want most out of your time away from home. This is crucial because it will make it much simpler for you to prioritise the components of the holiday that are most important to you and to determine which aspects of the holiday can be compromised. When it comes time to plan your perfect holiday, one thing you will not want to forget to take into consideration is anything that can be a "deal-breaker." Camping, for instance, might be an excellent way to cut down on the costs associated with lodging. However, if you are not the type of person who enjoys sleeping under the stars, you should probably look at other areas of your holiday that can help you save money. Be truthful with yourself in this area, but also be willing to make concessions on certain matters of lesser significance.

3. Formulate your plans

Tours are a practical and time-saving approach to ensure that you experience the greatest aspects of your trip; yet, they may also be quite expensive. You should know that making a reservation for a tour is a possibility for you for a number of different reasons. In certain locations, the presence of an expert tour guide is either obligatory or strongly recommended for reasons relating to public safety. In addition to this, they will be able to provide you with detailed information regarding your destination, and reserving a tour will make the process of making travel arrangements much more streamlined. However, if you are ready to put in some extra work in the form of study and planning, venturing out on your own in many different locations can not only save you money but also provide a one-of-a-kind, customised experience.

4. Get off the beaten track

It is not uncommon for some of the most popular tourist destinations to be busy and expensive all at the same time. Even if it might not be a terrible idea to include some well-known activities on your schedule, you should not be scared to venture to other sites that are not as well known - car rental orlando airport will make things much easier. When compared to more popular tourist destinations, many of these "hidden gems" will offer significantly lower prices or even be free of charge.

Fruity Pebbles Bark

This no bake treat couldn't be easier! It is fun to make and gift to friends. Kids especially love this bark recipe because it is so colorful. In fact, this fruity pebbles bark is so easy you should totally get the kids involved in making it!

Bark is my bag this year. I have been making it a lot because my husband is a candy addict, and I refuse to make a special candy run for him every evening. Instead I make something like this once a week to satisfy his need for sweets. This recipe is so easy. And it is unique. It has sweet elements, soft parts, and a perfect crunch.

Ingredients:

1 cup of fruity pebbles cereal

½  to 1  cup of fruity mini marshmallows

2 cups of white chocolate chips

1 teaspoon of crisco (or coconut oil)

Directions:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pour fruity pebbles cereal on the baking sheet.

Sprinkle mini fruity marshmallows over the cereal. If you love fruity marshmallows, add a cup. Otherwise
, a ½ cup is enough.

Pour the white chocolate chips into a large heat safe bowl.

Add crisco or coconut oil to the white chocolate chips.

Using a double boiler or the microwave, melt the chocolate chips, stirring often, until they are melted

“smooth”.

Pour the melted white chocolate chips over the cereal and marshmallows and allow to harden.

Break into chunks and enjoy!

If you need a quick and easy homemade treat to share with friends at a party. Or maybe a homemade gift that you can make in a minute, this is perfect for that!

Store it in an airtight container or in decorative bags.

This works anytime of year, not just at the holidays. Anyone who loves fruity pebbles cereal will love this easy homemade candy.
